Where’s your secret hiding place?

As children, and even as an adults, we have places where we go to be alone. It’s a place where we can think things through and be ourselves. It’s a place where we can learn who we are.

In that secret place, no one can see us. No one sees us cry. No one sees our desperation, our anger even our sadness or our rage.

No one can see us at all – except God. Remember, He is with us always!

He knows us better than anyone. He knows us better than we know ourselves.

Today, my prayer for you and I is that we will welcome God into our secret places and ask Him to sober our hearts.
