Cleary we have come together and developed as a society since the days that Christ was crucified. Cleary, we are more sophisticated and we understand everything better now, right?

Clearly, we would never allow Christ to be nailed to the Cross today, right?

Why then, does the world in general – despite our advances in civility, technology, philosophy, science and enlightenment – continue to push Him out of everything within society, commerce, politics and (dare I suggest) even religion?

If Christ came to your doorstep and said “Hi, I’d like to tell you a little about my Father.” how would you respond? Who you say “Didn’t you see the no soliciting sign?” or “I have a dog and he doesn’t like people with beards.”?

We often forget that Christ voluntarily died for us. It was not iron spikes that held hem to that rugged Cross, it was His love!

Today, my prayer for you and I is that we will stand up for our Lord when others suggest away with Him.
